IPN Verification Postback to HTTPS - PayPal

when I use http://your_site.com/extras/ipncheck.php it says file not found. 404

The 404 means "file not found", which appears when the requested file (in the specified directory) is not present on the server.

PayPal Payments Standard... Not installed. When i click on it then hit Install it flips me to PayPal Express Checkout.

That's normal because you can't install "both" Standard and Express at the same time, because that is redundant.

I went to do a test purchase and it failed. This is what it said
The PayPal account authentication settings are not yet set up, or the API security information is incorrect. We are unable to complete your transaction. Please notify the store owner so they can correct this problem. (10002) 10002 Security error - Security header is not valid.

The "10002 Security error - Security header is not valid" error means you've not set your 3 PayPal credentials (sig, user, pwd) into the Express Checkout module, or the ones you've put in are for a different account or for a sandbox/test account instead of the Live/Production account.
