Sales Tax Not Charging

My store is not charging sales tax on any orders since it was built.

The store is located in Ohio
Most Orders are from Ohio.
Each product is marked as Taxable Goods in the Tax Class section of each individual product edit.

Here are the settings I have:

Configuration> My Store> Zone = Ohio
Shipping/Packaging> Postal Code = 45459
Store Address and Phone:
175 East Alex Bell Rd
Suite 200
Centerville, OH 45459
Locations> Taxes = Taxable Goods
Locations> Taxes> Tax Rates = Taxable Goods, Zone is Ohio, Tax Rate is 7.25%
Define Zones = Zone Name is Ohio, Zone Description is Ohio Sales Tax.

I can see that none of the orders I clicked from Ohio have any sales tax added. I logged in as a test account with an Ohio address during testing and no tax is being applied.

I am running ZC v1.5.5e with this modules that may be of note:
Attribute Image Swatch v1.1.9
Product Options STock v2.1.8
DBIO v 1.2.1
USPS and UPS modules as well.

Help would be very much appreciated.

what is the tax class set up for all your products?

Your question is a bit confusing to me because I do see admin> catalog> categories/products but there is not tax class settings. This are just the primary categories listed, below that is subcategories listed then all the products listed per category. I do not see a tax class setting in this area.

Each product does have a Tax Class: Taxable Goods (instead of --none--) when you edit the product. Is this what you are talking about, or are you referring do a different area?

Anyone? My taxes should work with these settings right? There has to be somewhere else I can look to see why they are not collecting.

So, some ideas of things to check and test...

First, when you look at the product detail in the admin for a product that is identified as a taxable good, do you see a difference between the gross and net price such that the difference can be accounted for by the tax amount?

Then, in configurations->My Store, what is your settings for display price with tax? (I think the term is price includes tax). Identify both the catalog and admin side settings.

Then, regarding the product where this issue has been seen, is it managed by or otherwise associated with products options stock?

If you temporarily change the setting of the catalog side setting for display price with tax while looking at one of the identified product and reload the page, does the displayed price change for the product? (revert the change back to your previous setting).

If the product is not associated with products options stock, suggest stepping through the process with a product that is to see if the results are different. Same but opposite if the product is tracked by that plugin.

Then also suggest temporarily disabling that plugin and trying again.

Based on the results of that may have some suggested code modifications to attempt to see what data is involved along the checkout process or to perform a code comparison to validate that all of the expected files in the process are loaded and correct and that no extra files are in place that would be loaded when expected to be "removed" (ie. Having renamed xxx.php to xxxx_old.php may still load that file depending on where it is.)

The issue here was, while the store had configured a Zone Definition for Ohio Sales Tax, the details for that zone-definition referenced the state of Florida in the United States. Changing that setting to Ohio had the desired affect.

Thank you lat9 fixed the issue for me. Don't know how I set Florida as the zone (and didn't see it in my testing), but somehow it was so. Appreciate your help!
