smtpauth problem from gmail

Hi Gang,

I got hacked over the weekend and I changed all my passwords.
After changing my gmail password, I entered the new one in Zencart in the email settings.

Now gmail says this:

"Google just blocked someone from signing into your Google Account xxxxxxx###################### from an app that may put your account at risk.
Less secure app
Tuesday, January 16, 2018 10:34 AM (ET)"


I switched Google to accept less secure apps and now the emails work again, but I want to know if there is something else I need to do in Zencart so I can enable higher security again.
