Some hosts offer "mixed" environments. By that I mean they may have a farm of windows pcs as well as a farm of Linux like computers. Speak with them about it as an option, also perhaps there is something identifiable in the php settings as seen in the version information that could identify what they are using for caching which appears to be the issue. Ie. Can they disable it or put you in a bank that has it disabled?

I send them an email half an hour ago to ask if they do offer other platforms such as Linux.

I contacted them before and they told their settings are serverwide and could not be changed.

The hosting company has answered my email. They just started a new Apache platform and offered to move the website there.

I will wait a week untill my developer is back from his well earned vacation and then we will see if that helps, I myself have no experience with what Apache is and what makes it different from Windows :)

I will leave this to the experts...but it seems a good alternative maybe, what do you think?

    It's an improvement, certainly.

Today our webshop got transfered from a windows to linux/apache server by our provider. The "caching"-problem has been solved by doing that, so it had to do with the windows server :)

    Thanks !
