How to update SPECIAL, NEW ARRIVALS and BEST SELLERS?

Zen Cart Version : 1.5.4

I joined a new company and took over an EC website developed with Zen-cart. The previous person in charge of the website didn't explain a lot, so I am not familiar with a lot of things in Zen-cart.

In the top page of the website, there is a carousel product slider that includes SPECIAL, NEW ARRIVALS and BEST SELLERS as a following screen shot.



I have no idea how to update these items?
Does anybody know that?

Below the section, there is a FEATURED PRODUCTS section, but I found how to manage these items.
Admin page -> Catalog -> Featured products

However, I have not found other menus that are enable to manage those items.

In the same menu section of the admin are options for specials (Catalog->Specials). New items are identified by their add date and the settings found in configuration->new listing.

Best sellers relates to the actual sales, though there may be software installed that also handles that.

As a new editor/manager of the software, would suggest arming yourself with some tools, a plain text editor, an ftp program, a file comparison tool, a download of a vanilla version of the Zen Cart files for your version of ZC (which should also be updated), and reviewing the FAQs that are accessible from the top of this screen. There is quite a bit to be learned, much of which can be found by either searching this site (depending on the search engine of the forum software) or searching from outside this site using your favorite search engine which may provide better links to information on this site. When unable to find the desired information, well as you have found the forum is here to help.
