Blank/white screen on zc_install

I'm doing a clean install on a sub-folder on a Linux server and an getting a white screen. I'm trying to install 155f. I just did the same thing on a different server from the same hosting company two days ago with no problems. I have checked the permissions the htacess files and can't get past the white screen. I even got all the needed files from the install two days ago and used them thinking I have a bad file, but I get the same thing. I have downloaded 155f twice but nothing. I have used 3 browsers.

A few months ago I installed 155a (sub-folder) on this same problematic server and it worked fine.

any ideas???????

Any debug files in the logs folder ? Or any error log generated by your host ?

I also loaded and older version on ZC and it opens fine. No blank/white screen

I put the zc_install fine back on the server for the 155a I installed earlier, also on a lower folder, and I can see the install page. I put the whole 155e on the server and I can see the install page.
Both of these servers are Hostmonster HM and it is strange how one server would see the install page and not the other.

#1, i do not think it's strange that 2 servers at the same host exhibit different behavior. i would encourage you to do the same.
#2, i would look into whether you have a custom php.ini file. from the error message, it sounds like your php.ini file is for a different version of php than the one that you have selected to run ZC.

that is where i would start.
