Can't get Square Module Running

Files are all installed
square_handler.php is in the root dir with the ipn_main_handler.php
I got my Application ID and Secret, put in the URL

Login, says: Square (Access Token needed)
ALERT: Access Token not set:
1. Make sure the OAuth Redirect URL in your Square Account "app" is set to
https://www.dvdua.com/square_handler.php

2. And then Click here to login and Authorize your account

Logging in returns site not found

I am at a complete loss...


Using 1.5.4., php up to date

I notice one fix says "allow square_handler.php to be accessed directly."
but I have no idea H O W to do that.

Your site's HTTPS is based on an invalid certificate.
You need to get your hosting company to configure your dvdua.com domain with a valid HTTPS certificate, instead of the generic self-signed one by sni.dreamhost . com

Once your TLS/SSL/HTTPS is working properly, then you can resume configuring your payment module.

Okay I set up "Let's Encrypt" hopefully that will get Square working

As of right now, with the site down-for-maintenance, the square_handler is being redirected to the maintenance page, so won't function correctly.

Additionally, it seems to be redirecting to http instead of https. Not sure if that's related to the maintenance mode, or if it's a configure.php issue, or if it's an issue with how your domain is configured as it relates to installing the certificates requires for https.

So I reinstalled Square to Zen.
Go to my Square dashboard for the My Apps > Manage Apps > Application ID and Secret on the OAuth tab...
Set Zen to Purchase as default, hit Okay...
Location ID seems to be empty...

Hit Update.

Check that the alert token URL Is set... and it is...

"Click here to login"

Get redirected back to my site, and the payment module shows: Square (Access Token needed)

Does that mean... ooo I need to test this! omg thay would be so great if its working.

So, you don't have SSL actually enabled on your store... which brings us back to DrByte's last post...

Also note that your includes/configure.php file is probably set to read-only (permissions 0444), if you didn't change it to writable (0644) before saving "the change" then it didn't keep. That is the current situation because going to the login page is still presented with http://
