Cant delete or move products in 1.55f

After getting the software installed I'm now able to add products and categories and have been doing so.
However, i noticed that if I add a product in the wrong category it won't let me delete it, it brings me back to the edit page of that product and I and choose back, preview or cancel.
The same thing happens when I try to move the wrong product to another category which already exists and has products in it.

Knowing from a previous thread that the software installed is that from an autoinstaller (softaculous) or presumed to be. It would be at least a good idea to verify that the files installed are that or equivalent to a vanilla install. Further that only the files associated with such an install are present. (there are some files when placed in a directory and ending with .php that will be processed and could cause problems.)

Further, there has been a relatively well known (to those in the forum) that there can be an issue with a customer attempting to check out/create a new account. If such a problem does not exist here, then congratulations.

I believe you said also that you were using a macintosh, correct? There's been a documented case where it has not been easy/possible to click on the small icons to support operations such as move/copy. The solution was to disable the "click" on the row that sends the user into the edit product area. Wish I could guide you directly to that post, but would have to research more on it...

If you are using a track pad, sometimes the tap to click can get un-checked. I would still suspect the installation.

If I disable the click then how would I delete or move the product?

I was pointing out that sometimes the click function of the pad did NOT work and needed to be looked at to make sure that function is checked.

Sorry. I has been years since I ran a copy of Zencart and I'm sure the complete printer manual I created at the time is now out of date.
I'm using ZC now to sell afghans that I make at home because I'm on disability and need to see if I can make a bit of extra money.
I wanted to see how much the current manual is but it says the server is temp. off-line.

I was, however, able to login to my site and create a user account for my self and received the confirmation email.

I just tried a fresh install and the same thing happens on my Mac Mini.
I tried moving an item when logged in on my iPad and it worked fine.

I've been searching a lot today and can't find any information on the can't click. I have a friend (one) that I help sometimes with teamviewer. I am unable to click the edit icons and edit a product. Teamviewer does mention something about a USB mouse causing a problem, but I doubt many MAC folks use a USB mouse.

That's the one I was thinking of!!!! And of course in my own software search I hadn't gotten down into where the javascript was actually applied/used (yet).
