Duplicated Site - New site shows Error 500

Hi Guys,

I have duplicated a website for my client, copied the database and all files and folders correctly. Updated the configure files with paths and db details.

Also checked on my hosts end and it seems to be a site issue.

The site is: coolcostume.co.uk

Anyone else had an issue similar to mine or have a suggestion to fix it?

Similar issues seen of others: .htaccess file added to original site has something in it that is causing an issue with the backup site. Information presented in the logs folder has some error information to resolve the problem (is a similar issue condition and may hold true for this one). An upgrade was performed in parallel with the backup. The permissions of the includes/configure.php file weren't changed to 644 or similar prior to saving the changes (attempt to check/review the settings in the file to see that it has been updated.) The permissions of the new fileset do not allow access in the new environment....

All to name a few.

As far as making the "backup" nowhere does it clearly state where the backup is. If it is in fact at this new site address in the original post, then there is no relationship shown in the file structure of the new site as compared to the old one... same server? Same host? Local computer? Difference in any environment conditions, etc...

All-in-all, somewhat stuck with saying need more information...

• it apparently was not done correctly (sorry...)
• everything is just a guess
• to properly solve this problem, you need to look at the logs. the apache and php error logs are generally stored in the same file, and your host SHOULD give you access to them. by looking at those logs, one can determine the exact problem, and address it accordingly.
• ZC logs are a subset of those logs going into that file. it makes it easier to debug ZC. however, some times the error happens BEFORE ZC does the log override, which is one reason why you would not see any ZC error logs
• ask your host for access to the apache/php logs. some times they are accessible from the cpanel. post them here. some hosts can help solve these problems, most do not.
