How to display Out of Stock items last in list

Greetings,

I would like to modify my store such that Out of Stock items (qty<=0) would display at the bottom of the list when browsing all of the various product listing pages (product listing, all products, specials, featured, etc.).

What file(s) would I need to modify? Suggested sql?

Another option would be to only display Out of Stock items if you have a direct link, such as a bookmark to that product. Any idea of how to do that?

Nog ideal, but you could make a new disabled category, and (link) copy the product there. This way normal browsing will show the product.
