    Default Recurring Problem

    Using 1.5.4

    What happens is I see authorize logs come into my email for a coming order... but the customer gets timed out, authorize payment processes, they get charged, but no zen cart order is created, so I don't know an order came in or what they even ordered... so I wind up missing orders, or if I do catch them, have to email the customer to ask them what they ordered.

    CC Credit Card, not sure why that would impact the time out error and not creating an order zen-side?

    Auth.net AIM or SIM ?

    Did you recently change SSL settings?

    I believe they may have updated SSL but that's it.

    Is

    Admin: Configuration: Sessions: Force Cookie Use: False or True ? Default = false

    During a troubleshooting session related to changing HTTP and HTTPS servers, I changed this setting to "True" and it had a negative effect on Auth.net SIM in ZC1.5.4
    Changed it back to the default False and the Auth.net SIM problem went away.

    My notes don't specify if the issue was the same as you are experiencing.

    Ya i tried a test sale and got:
    Whoops! Your session has expired.

    Card was charged, no order created.

    Okay, it was set to false already, so I set it to true, then back to false, tried the test sale again, and got the same timed out session.
    Payment charged, no order created.

    Okay i was able to fix it... I reuploaded an older includes/functions/sessions.php file and cleared all broser history/cache

    Before clearing all browser history/cache, was a test run? If that still failed, then the question becomes how do you ensure that other purchasers do the same thing, if that is necessary for returning shoppers?


    As to the earlier question of which payment method, each handle payments differently. Also it did not seem evident if reference to authorize was to authorize.net or perhaps to say paypal being used in an authorize payment method. Others offer the ability to authorize the payment but not immediately collect monies.
