Twitter cuts image in half when sharing.

When I share my product twitter it cuts my images in half. For an example:

My Product image is 1000px by 1000px

Twitter suggests 1024px by 512px

How to do I fix this without changing the image size of my main product?

Ok, I am still having trouble with Twitter.

On my product info image is (1000px by 1000px).
And on my Image handler it is for social media for Facebook & Twitter is (1024px by 512px).

When I share my product image on Facebook it gives me too choices for the image either (1000px by 1000px) or (1024px by 512px).

Then when I share my product image on Twitter it only gives me (1000px by 1000px) instead of (1024px by 512px).

Twitter can only use (1024px by 512px) how can I fix this for twitter?

Did you check the twitter forums? or the API guides.
Are you using the API or just uploading?
I manage images myself, are the images in twitter what you expected them to be sized to? My images in twitter are no where close to what you have (1,196px × 823px (scaled to 1,144px × 787px))

Twitter is a text base medium and not graphic like facebook, as such, the api system can post images far better then the user interface.
