Weird issue getting to admin folder on my new server

I auto copied my installation from one server running WHM/Cpanel to a new one.

When I test it using IP_address/~cpanelusername/adminfolder it goes to the admin folder.

When I change the domain name DNS, the domain works until I try to go to the adminfolder

domainname/adminfolder gives my a 404 error message, but if I put domainname/~cpanelusername/adminfolder it actually works.

Check both configure files to make sure they match the new DNS. If you were "massaging" your Windows host file, you'll want to change it as well.

Once all the entries match, you should be googd to go.

The admin/includes/configure.php has the right path , the only other confige file I know is the admin/configure and I don't see any patchs in that config file.

Look for DIR_FS_CATALOG

If your site is in the root directory, you will have one file at includes/configure.php and another at YOUR_ADMIN/includes/configure.php.

Ok. The both match and the path is right. I can't figure out what is happening.

I'm sure you've probably cleared the cache a few times, so, next is to make sure there are no redirects in an .htacccess file or a cpanel setting.

Well, I appear to have figured it out.

It is doing it because I have not installed a security certificate on the account yet. I changed both configuration files to set ssl for false and it worked.

The Cpanel DNS wizard tells me the built in SSL is messed up and generating 404 errors. So that is the root of problem.
