Can I remove the Shipping Weight from display on the item listing?

Hi,

v1.5.6.a, can I remove the shipping weight from being displayed on the product listing? I need it for woking out the shipping cost with reference to the table, but do not need it displayed on the item listing itself.

If I cannot, how can I change ot from lbs to gms, which would be a little more realistic?

Admin->Configuration->Product Listing, then set Display Weight to 0.

Thanks SWGUY, however, it already is set to 0 and if I try to set it to 0 again I get this error:

There will be a debug log in your /logs folder. Please post it.

Also, if it's already set to 0 and you're still seeing the weight, it could be your template doesn't respect this setting.
You'll have to compare to responsive_classic.

When you said "the product listing" did you really mean the product info page? Because in the responsive classic template, the weight isn't shown on the product listing page at all. If you did mean the product info page, and you want to remove it from there, use admin->catalog->product types-> [select your product type] -> Edit Layout, and set Show Weight = false.
