    Default Paypal Payment module not working : "NOT CONFIGURED YET" after upgrade to v156 (UK)

    https://www.kentontrimmings.co.uk/shop/
    v156a
    PHP7.2

    I realise seeing "NOT CONFIGURED YET" under Paypal Express Check out indicates missing credentials, HOWEVER I have tried again and again with different permetations and it just will not work.

    For Payflow, paypal provide me with:
    User Partner Vendor Password

    The module in Zencart Admin requires:
    API Signature -- Username xxxx6H3HXA
    API Signature -- Password ****************
    API Signature -- Signature Code ( 56-character code)
    PayPal Merchant ID eg: FDEFDEFDEFDE11

    How do the 2 sets of requirements relate?

    The most logical I can see is:
    User = "API Signature -- Username"
    Partner = ??? (only thing left is "API Signature -- Signature Code ( 56-character code)") but that does not make sense. Under Payflow credentials for partner, they provide "PayPalUK"
    Vendor = "PayPal Merchant ID eg: FDEFDEFDEFDE11"
    Password = "API Signature -- Password ****************"

    ......or is there something up with the module that is not displaying the correct field names?

    Is anyone able to provide a best practice walkthrough for this, bearing in mind this is for a UK based site?

    Many thanks.

    Kind regards

    Thank you Design 75 but I already have all the required data (I think) but I need clarification as to what goes where. I have Paypal API credentials and I have Payflow credentials, do I only use Payflow credentials OR only Paypal API & if I use the Payflow credentials how do they relate to the fields provided? Payflow give you a different naming convention ie: "User" ; "Partner"; "Vendor"; "Password"
    (as opposed to: "API Signature -- Username"; "API Signature -- Password"; "API Signature -- Signature Code"; "PayPal Merchant ID")

    Or have I completely misunderstood what is required?
    (Sorry If I am not explaining this very well).

    I decided to do a complete re-install of Zone Cart but that made no difference, somebody must have the answer.

    ..... further investigation showed an article:
    https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....e-by-Sept-2009

    and in this article it said to add the Payflow Module (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=321) as well as making some edits in the payflow.php file.

    I did as was suggested and now All Paypal/Payflow Modules/Payment are missing under ADMIN, Modules, Payment.

    Not sure if I am going backward or forwards at the moment :)

    Sounds like now suffering from a partial blank page. Likely to have a myDebug-adm-xxx log in your logs folder as described in this FAQ: http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?124-blank-page

    .....the plot thickens.......
    I switched my server PHP version back to v5.6 and "hey presto" I can see all the payment modules again, including Payflow. I was even able to add the Payflow credentials and have a green light.
    Is this because my Payflow.php version I downloaded as per above will not work over PHP v5.6? Is there an updated Payflow.php that is compatible with PHPv7.2?

    Hi, thanks for responding...

    MyDebug states:

    [14-Jan-2019 23:28:16 Europe/London] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ',' or ';' in /home/sites/kentontrimmings.co.uk/public_html/shop/includes/modules/payment/payflow.php on line 1202

    [14-Jan-2019 23:28:16 Europe/London] Request URI: /shop/admin/modules.php?set=payment, IP address: [x.x.x.x]
    --> PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ',' or ';' in /home/sites/kentontrimmings.co.uk/public_html/shop/includes/modules/payment/payflow.php on line 1202.

    Line 1202 in payflow.php is: global $$order_totals[$i]['code'];

    Not sure what its getting at. :)
    Cheers

    Jeremy

    if only it were so.... (i love a thick plot...)

    php 5 and php 7 handle indirect vars differently. see:

    https://goo.gl/yQf8sf

    you could try changing the code to:

    PHP Code:
              // handle other order totals:

    global ${$order_totals[$i]['code']};
              if ((
    substr($order_totals[$i]['text'], 01) == '-') || (isset(${$order_totals[$i]['code']}->credit_class) && ${$order_totals[$i]['code']}->credit_class == true)) {
    i'm not real sure about the changes on the second line; and you may need to play around with that, ie the ending curly brace may need to be after credit_class. but no doubt, to me, this is what the problem is about.

    best.
