Coupon dates have expired and can no longer use on V151. Not ready to upgrade yet.

Using v 1.5.1

The Coupon dates have expired and only go up to Dec 2018 and can no longer use coupons.

The check out page still works and the exp dates increase.

Any ideas as to how to extend the exp dates for coupons.

I looked at these links and it makes absolutely no sense to me. I tried switching a few things and still could not get it to work.

/admin/includes/functions/general.php -- in your old v1.5.1, the line is 1911
Change it like shown here: (removing the red, adding the green):

If anyone else comes across this issue do the following:

Open
admin/includes/functions/general.php

around line 1982 you'll see the following:

for ($i=2001;$i<2019;$i++){ 

replace it with this:

    $curryear = date("Y");
    $yearp10 = $curryear + 11;
    
    // for ($i=2001;$i<2019;$i++){
     for ($i=$curryear;$i<$yearp10;$i++){
