Yes that was on purpose. As I could not get the functionality of that button to work in the new style. I asked for help during the development of the new look, but nobody came to aide . But if you know how to solve it please make a PR on github .

Stumbled across possible fix, or would modifying zen_image_submit or creating a new one be better...
