upgraded site to 1.5.6 but didnt work so then just re-installed V1.5.6 ,

i decided to upgrade zencart 1.5.5 d to 1.5.6 and unfortunately just gave me issues so decided just to re-install using clean install , the install went fine no probs seem to install fine showed it had set everything up , database etc but then when i try to go into the admin panel through the web address it just blank screens . ( yep deleted the ZC_install ) im sure it must be something simple i missed . Any Help ?
Tried installing it a couple of times but must be missing something

How was it installed? Ie. Auto-installer, manual by ftp, etc...

What error logs have been generated? Note: http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?124-blank-page

Was the site installed to a sub-directory? If so, when asked to fill in the blanks during installation about how to get to the site, how were those fields populated in relation to the sub-directory?

Well i was hoping for something a little more but sure we`ll go with this ,

No auto installer the files were uploaded to ftp then using install.php , no error messages generated in the log files , no sub directories .
When installing it self poplated showing it was picking up the database etc , no errors mentioned and no warnings
