Default Pointing developers tool kit to another folder

Zen Cart 1.5.1, Linux hosting on dreamhost.
    PHP Version 5.6.36

I've moved my website from demo.mysite.com to mysite.com, I have these folders on my hosting account - basically just copied and renamed the folder.

For some reason, the developers toolkit insists on searching within my "old" folder "demo.mysite.com".

How do I "tell" the developer toolkit in which folder should it search ? is this configurable ?

my session.save_path, _SERVER["HTTP_HOST"], _ENV["DOCUMENT_ROOT"] etc are all pointing at the right folder, this is confusing.

Developers_tool_kit and all things on the admin use the admin/includes/configure.php file. That file should recognize your new/current path as well as your includes/configure.php file on the store side.

Agreed. Your configure.php settings are driving that.
