Changing order status changing totals

Could somebody tell me why changing the order status would change the total price in the admin please? or is this a bug? See image

Just following this up. When dispatched or processing is picked from the order status dropdown menu it changes the Total Price to 0.00 or 0.01 in the admin panel.

gotta be a modification you did. what modules do you have installed and what might you have customized on the orders page?

I thought it probably would be that. I Upgraded a cart to 1.56a for someone and that is what happened. I can't remember what mods are in there. Not sure, but I think super orders might have been added. I will have another look. There's some strange things going on with Gift Certs on the orders page as well.
