Default unable to advance beyond shipping method

ZenCart is not functioning correctly on a client's site.

Clients are able to enter items, login, but cannot advance beyond the shipping information page. Ciicking the continue checkout button simply reloads the page.

We're using UPS, with my client dropping off packages at his UPS store. Same method he's been using for half a dozen years.

The following text appears under shipping method:
We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown.

Not sure when the issue began, but the last successful order was April 2019.

Can't remember the last time anything was changed on the site.

While the issue is occurring during the use of Zen Cart, it doesn't appear to be a problem with Zen Cart, rather with the shipping module and possibly with the server on which the software is installed.

Just ran a ssl test through: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/

And there are two protocol that are on the UPS' list of acceptable protocols to use; however, the software may need a minor modification in order to try to use the more secure method of communication. See: https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-cente...-security.page for more information about the necessary security.

There are also a few threads in the forum about the changes needed to UPS to support the new requirements. One of those is: https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....January-5-2019

The host is upgrading to the type of ssl cert that UPS now requires. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

The ZenCart thread mentioned does have a post dated this year, but the rest of the posts on that thread date to 2009 -2004.

Last month I had our UPS shipping add-on stop working. I downloaded Dr Byte's new version from Jan 2019 and it corrected the problem and had been working fine for several weeks.

Today, I found out it has stopped working again. I downloaded his patch again, installed the files and still no go.

I'm using ZC v1.5.1 -- I know I should upgrade, but I'm nervous and only know enough to be dangerous. The site has been working great since 2008.
I tried to private message Dr. Byte, but his inbox is full.
Anyone else have any other suggestions

Busy, crazy day, but my client's site is running properly once again.

Our host upgrade the SSL cert to the newest standard

    Upgraded the UPS shipping plug-in.

I'm glad you were able to get your client's site working correctly.

My hosting company (Go Daddy) says my SSL is a compatible SHA2 2bit 2048 and my cyphers are also compatible.

The problem seems to be with the plug-in upgrade from Dr Byte and not ZC.

As I said, the Dr's private messaging is full and I don't know how to contact him.

Anyone out there that can help would be appreciated.

I uninstalled my UPS module -- reinstalled it -- upgraded to Jan 2019 (Dr Byte)

Now Checkout is showing the product weight and UPS icon -- but no UPS shipping choices to select.

    Before it said:
We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown.
