Need Urgent Help

My zen cart admin password says it expired... but I can't seem to remember the old password, I thought I had it written down correctly, and if I choose the forgot password reset password option I don't get the email it's supposed to send... I looked into the phpmyadmin and executing from SQL:

DELETE FROM admin WHERE admin_name = ‘Admin’;
INSERT INTO admin (admin_name, admin_email, admin_pass, admin_profile)
VALUES (‘Admin’, ‘admin@localhost’, ‘351683ea4e19efe34874b501fdbf9792:9b’, 1);

Not sure what to do at this point. I would love some help ;)

Nevermind, I did a mysql restore and was able to update the password.

Thing is that in interesting is that one should only be notified about an expired password after entering the password... Meaning, have to know the password to be told that it has expired which means likely some form of auto-fill was being used to access the store.

Now as far as this "solution" to restore a backup? Oye. Any idea how much site data has been lost? And how is it that a simple restore fixed the issue? An older database would just have the same older password still expired.
