How to? Translate only menu

Is it possible for zen cart after loading the language to load only the translation of the menu and category, but the description and product name left in the default language? . Now when I switch language, I get a page without content.

When you register a new language pack in the admin, the english product names and descriptions should be copied to the new language fields in the database.
If you are getting empty content with the new language, that process has failed.

On your development server, revert to the backup you did prior to registering the language pack and investigate the process by repeatedly restoring the database and registering the language and seeing what happens (if anything) in the products description.
Maybe there is an error in the language pack that aborted the process. You should ask in the support thread for that language pack.

It would also help to identify which rendition of Zen Cart 1.5.6 has been installed. In addition, it would help in this situation to identify the ability to access and/or change any settings in the configuration menu.
