Broke the email

I did something to the SMTP server config and lost the email function.
When I use the send email page, it throws this error:

ERROR: Failed sending email to: "ADMIN admin" with subject: "test" SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMail...roubleshooting

I made sure that the login and password are correct and that the SMTP server accepts incoming un-encrypted connections from the box I run it on. Anything else I could troubleshoot? The error message is kind of vague.

Does either your SMTP login or password contain any "special" characters, e.g. "><&?

Never mind, the SMTP server required TLS after recovering from a DB crash and once I dropped the requirement Zen is sending again.
