    Default Forgotten password emails not received by customer

    I have a lot of customers complaining that they don't receive the email with the reset password after they submit their email address on my 'Password Forgotten' page.

    Using the 'E-mail Archive Manager' plugin I can see that the email indeed has been sent out, so I guess it must be the customers spam filter or Internet providers spam filter that is preventing my customers to receive it.

    Is there anything I can do to improve the chance that emails sent from my website won't end up in my customers spam inbox? Particularly in regards to forgotten passwords, since I rarely have complaints from customers not receiving the order confirmation email.

    Are these emails sent as TEXT or HTML (or both)?

    Noting also that DrByte recently submitted a change (https://github.com/zencart/zencart/c...2bbbc497daaf42) to zc157 to address possibly spam-looking emails. I don't know if those changes will help, but they might!

    Enable HTML Emails in E-Mail Options is set to False, I guess that means they are only sent as TEXT.
    E-Mail Transport Method is set to 'sendmail'.

    You could try:
    - remove the CAN-SPAM text from the language file, as some "filters" cheat and use this as a generic catch-all
    - for HTML emails remove the SPAM_DISCLAIMER from the email template html files
