Template not working after MySQL update

After upgrading MySQL a couple of our websites stopped working. 2 out of 6 are experiencing issues and displaying the "WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again." Only the two using this template are experiencing this issue.

If we change the template back to zencart's responsive template then everything works fine again.

We downloaded the newest version of the template for 1.5.6c and still no joy.

I checked the debug file and the following errors appear:

well it is looking for a table it can not find

Have you confirmed whether or not that table exists? if an update from an older version did that table exist in the older version? If clean install was all of the template install sql scripts run?

We never touch the database aside from upgrading MySQL. The only websites that are affected were the ones using that's specific template. if I revert back to our old template or Zen cart responsive template on those two sites that are affected then everything works.
