Attribute Price adds the the product price in the product listing - How to stop?

I would like the price of attributes NOT to add to the product price on the listing page. I can't seem to figure out which setting is doing this. But, I'm getting customer complaints as they don't understand that the price is simply the addition of the attribute. My customers are old and cranky so I can't leave it like this.



I run a store wide sale of a % off so it makes the math look really wrong, as you can see by the photo.

On the listing page I just want the price to be the price, like it is for products w/o an attribute.


If this is a setting I can change please lead me that direction.
If this has NOTHING to do with zen-cart and something to do with my theme, then please release me from my prison. And I will contact the theme maker about how to turn this off.

For the attributed-product, how is that product and its attributes defined?

Specifically:

- Is the product "Priced by Attributes"?
- Is the associated attribute marked as "Base Price" (the purple icon)? That causes that attribute's price addition/subtraction to be added to the product's base price for display.

Check out the dynamic price updater mod and see if that doesn't help.

No it is neither priced by attribute nor is the attribute set with the base price (purple box) turned on.

After making my eyes bleed yesterday and not seeing a simple line.... Dynamic Price Updater Status True/False..... Well I finally saw that today.
Thanks I just turned this off and that fixed it.
