resource limit reached due to mysql processes not being closed properly

Hi,
We are getting an occasional "resource limit" error on our site

artofsoundmusic.com

it looks like we have too many mysql processes in the sleep state.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any "usual suspects"? We have changed no code on the site recently, so I am having a hard time figuring out what may have caused this to crop up all of a sudden.

Your hosting company can likely help you identify the processes

It's most likely script kiddies (or rogue spiders) pounding on your site. The IP address in effect when those errors are logged should be added to your site's .htaccess 'deny' list.
