I am trying to link add values to the name manager and I am receiving this error message

Any idea what is causing this error message?

Not at the moment, but there should be an admin log-file generated, e.g. /logs/myDEBUG-adm-*.log that identifies the cause of the issue. Remember, when posting the log's contents, to xxx-out your site's admin-directory name.

Also, when saying using ZC 1.5.6 is that to mean the original 1.5.6 and not sub-version a, b, nor c? The issue may have been corrected in a more recent version (easier to identify if it had or not by sharing some of the information from the log(s) described above).
