Default payment order can't be changed

I cant seem to change the order of preference in the payment methods. It keep defaulting to the one I do not want

I want e-path to be default. I can't seem to to that in admin. Is there aywhere else like in database I can change this?

What are your sort orders for each?

0=Credit Card
1=St George

Lowest number wins. Unless you have something else also at that number

One thing we have found over the years. When it comes to sort order, count by 5's or 10's and never use 0 in anything but the required-, display-attribute in the attributes controller.

So, are there any other active payment methods set at zero?

I'm familiar with meat pies (boomerangspiesDOTcom), but not familiar with these payment methods. Most set the sort order inside the edit of the payment method.

Are either of these different than that?

Problem is not the sorting order but have it pre selected as default. Everytime I make it work, then somehow it resets it self back again.

You can see it says "checked" I want to know the file where this is set as "checked" or "not checked" so that I can swap them around. This is not in admin even though there is an option for 'Default" isnt working.

I have read https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....efault-payment but "customer is always right" as we have learned :-(
