In Admin cant move products to diffeent categories

For some reason in the backend of zencart when I try and move a product to a different category it just refreshes and does not move the product.

I did some reseearch and found this thread but nothing seems to work

I have also tried this on multiple browsers with no success, If someone can assist me or lead me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

What version of Zen Cart?

Although I couldn't find anything that "stood out" in the changes to /admin/category_product_listing.php from zc156 to zc156b, products can be moved without error from one category to another on zc156b.

You might try updating your version of that file to that present in 156b to see if that resolves your issue.

HMM i tried to download the zencart file from the home page. Seems to be missing the configuration files. Its eve missing the admin/includes/modules/category_product_listing.php path

This file no longer exists in 1.5.6. And the configuration files are examples - you get includes/dist-configure.php (and the same in admin).

Yeah I figured that part out. One thing I did noticed admin/includes/modules/category_product_listing.php does not exist. I believe that is the file I need to update in order to get the products to move to another category. Am I missing something here.

You want to update admin/category_product_listing.php from the latest Zen Cart build.

I got it. Thank you for your help. I just replaced the admin/category_product_listing.php
