Script Optimization Please Help!!!

My site has been down for over a week now, and I need help. Started with a 500 Internal Server error, sucked the bandwidth up in 2 days. So I had my site migrated to a MVPS the problem still persists. Now this is what they keep telling me:

I would suggest you to optimize the script and due to the high usage, the mysql service is going down. Hence, the website is showing the database error. I would suggest you to contact your web developer and check this further with them. They should be able to assist you with optimizing the website script for you.

Problem is there is no developer, there is just me, and I don't know what the script is, where to find it, or how to optimze it. Can someone please point me in the direction I need to go? My zen cart is the only file being affected.

you say you are using php 5.6 but in their email it shows you using php 7.3. I am not sure if there are issues using zc 1.5.5f with php 7.3, trying forcing easy apache to use a lower version like php 7.1. You can select the php version in your cpanel account.
