Store Demo

We tried to use Softaculous to install ZenCart, but the program had an error which required assistance from hosting support. I see that there is an option mentioned in the manual installation instructions that allows the running of "Store Setup". During store setup, we have the option to configure the Language, Currency and Demo data for the store. Is this option available when Softaculous is used for installation? If so, how? We would like to have the demo data included so that we can see how the cart works.

Best off to use the manual installation method to do an install of Zen Cart. Softaculous has done what they did independent of the core team and therefore there are mixed results.

Essentially, if you kept a backup of includes/configure.php and ADMIN/includes/configure.php (where ADMIN is the secret name to your admin directory), then you could delete all of the existing files, download a proper version of the software, load it to your site, place the two files back to the server and go through the install with demo data to be able to see many of the features in operation.
