New Customers and New Orders Not Showing Up in Admin Section

1.5.5e with NO plugins or themes

PHP 5.6.40 CURL is enabled

SSL Enabled True

I am taking orders and get notices fine but there is not record of the user or order in the admin section. I just love issues hopefully this one is not a 3 week issue.

Last login is not updating either. Nothing is updating.

I really understand why people use shopify lol Someone is working on that issue but now another issue that I am going to try and solve.

The category url is missing from Admin->Catalog However I can get to it because I know the url.....This seems to be a simple file edit if I know the file to edit and how.

Has someone tried to do a database upgrade to 1.5.6 and abandoned it?
What has been done to change the conditions? Things don't just stop happening "because"...

I believe it came from either the hosting company or the last person who fixed it. Yes I totally get that and thats what I told them things just dont go astray out of the blue. I would love to find someone who has more knowledge than I do and offers reasonable rates to do work for me on an ongoing bases. Theres a lot of variables going on with this cart. 1. I was sick for long time, merchant account got shut off. 2. New merchant account 3. I switched hosting companies 2 times and switched plans 3 times on new host in the last 6 months. 4. 3 Different people worked on it. I got the category link back. The guy working on it has the orders and customers fixed and just has to fix the who's online. 5. The hosting co "offers" free script/mod/themes install/upgrades however that is not what it sounds in writing and they claim they reset it back but IDK after they couldn't do it right. Its a stupid mess and Im quite tired and frustrated with the whole thing as I say I understand why people use the easy road I really do. I got about 4 weeks into this crap!

Ive had this cart for 9 years and another for 14 years and NEVER had so much trouble as this crap! I mean Ive had issues over the years ofc but this is a new and improved issue.
