Default Clarification of an FAQ's anwser.

In your FAQ's, under "Miscellaneous" a question was asked:

"Can customers purchase from my Zen Cart shop without creating an account?"

    The answer was:

"At this time all customers must register with their full name, address and other information before going to the checkout. The ability to have more flexibility in the login/account creation/checkout process is on our roadmap for the future. The first steps towards buying without an account are scheduled for inclusion in Zen Cart in the future."[

Since the FAQ does not have a date in the posting my question is: Has the version I am using (1.5.6c) been updated to offer this flexibility?

There are two mods that add this capability to 1.56.c. I recommend One Page Checkout by lat9

Thank you, however, this one is for "after registration" and not before registration.
    Who is the 2nd mod?

Where do you get the feeling that OPC is "after regisgtration". Did you even investigate its Guest Checkout?

Beginning to seem like you don't want to "learn how to fish."

Another way to purchase without creating an account with the store is to solely use PayPal Express and direct that an account not be created as part of checkout.

Your sarcasm is not really necessary. Of course I want to "learn how to fish." Like I have said before, I'm a novice to all this, but don't worry about it, I'll figure it out.

    Thank for your help anyway.

Apologies. I now see that the description of the mod does NOT reflect what it does
This plugin reduces your store's checkout process (after account-creation) to a single shipping/payment/confirmation page.
This is no longer the case and I haven't bothered to look at the Plug In description for some time.

    Another example of assume.

OPC has evolved tremendously since the description was created for the Plug In's download spot.

Since April of 2018, OPC has included Guest Checkout. It is the option of the store owner to enable this feature or not.

We don't always have time to go into the details. Sorry I sent you where the COMPLETE info was not available without much research.

BTW, this mod will be "built-in" to the next Zen Cart.
