Argh. I'm not even sure what that "means"!

I guess it means it’s not working. As I understand it the PSD2 needs to be in place in the UK by Sept 2021. So I guess PayPal uk need to do something, so presumably that’s is why the option 2 is no longer visible in pro account to opt for PayFlow. PayPal link to Cardinal Commerce is broken. We are awaiting replies from PayPal and Cardinal Commerce. Dr Byte do you want me to continue posting any more info if we receive it?

Questions arise: is PayPal actually planning to continue to support and require and use and provide registration for Cardinal's stuff?
Could PayPal's transactions pass through if the whole cardinal step were bypassed (since they're sending errors anyway), etc?

The payments are going through OK its just generates an email:
"Cardinal Lookup 3[nn2ej6m516kr6sf8hf420ta7h9] Cardinal Centinel - cmpi_lookup error - 1002, 2002, 2020 - Error Processing Lookup Request Message, Invalid Merchant Id or Processor Id, Invalid Transaction Password
There are 3 steps to configuring your Cardinal 3D-Secure service properly:
1-Login to the Cardinal Merchant Admin URL supplied in your welcome package (NOT the test URL), and accept the license agreement.
    2-Set a transaction password.
3-Copy your Cardinal Merchant ID and Cardinal Transaction Password into your ZC PayPal module.
For specific help, please contact [email protected] to sort out your account configuration issues.
Problem observed while customer 993 name of customer was attempting checkout with 3D-Secure authentication. THEIR PURCHASE WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. Please resolve this matter to enable future checkouts."

In actual fact the purchase was successful. I am not too sure where to comment out in the php files the Cardinal Commerce, also by doing so I am not too sure if by doing so it breaks any rules in UK regarding payment by CC online.

I suppose if things are "working", you could avoid the error email by commenting-out these lines:
https://github.com/zencart/zencart/b...hp#L2162-L2168 (circa v157, adjust accordingly) by adding // at the beginning of each of those lines.

Thank you Dr Byte I will do that I was going to just comment out
    PHP Code:
    zen_mail(STORE_NAMESTORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESSsubstr($errorDesc075) . ' (' $errorNo ')'$errorTextSTORE_OWNERSTORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS, array('EMAIL_MESSAGE_HTML'=>nl2br($errorText)), 'paymentalert');
We have had some response from PayPal and Cardinal Commerce will update soon .

As far as I understand it PayPal is continuing with Cardinal. Yes PayPal's transaction goes through by opting for PayPal and not Payflow-uk. Both Credit card payments and PayPal payments complete with order details. Have now commented out email error generated ref Cardinal Commerce, all works OK and no email . Thank you Dr Byte.
This message was sent to Cardinal Commerce:
"I was wondering if you could advise on this issue we are having. If a customer places an order using Debit Card it goes through to PayPal and we receive an order email but it also generates this email:

"Cardinal Lookup 3[n8l16hir7kr3bfj6r751pipn67] Cardinal Centinel - cmpi_lookup error - 1002, 2002, 2020 - Error Processing Lookup Request Message, Invalid Merchant Id or Processor Id, Invalid Transaction Password

3-Copy your Cardinal Merchant ID and Cardinal Transaction Password into your ZC PayPal module.
For specific help, please contact implement AT cardinalcommerce DOT com to sort out your account configuration issues.
Problem observed while customer 815 customers name was attempting checkout with 3D-Secure authentication. THEIR PURCHASE WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. Please resolve this matter to enable future checkouts.”

Would it be possible to give me a Cardinal Merchant ID and Cardinal transaction password that is linked to PayPal Cardinal processor ID 134-01

Assuming this would resolve the issue."
    The response was:
"Unfortunately, I don’t have resources for credential assistance. I would recommend (if this issue is preventing cardholder checkout) perhaps disabling 3DS until PayPal has you boarded on Complete Payments. We are still working with PayPal on updating merchant messaging such as the response below in various aspects of the old workflow. So sorry for the confusion!"
As it does not prevent the checkout we just commented out as above. It would seem that maybe 'old workflow' is currently an issue.
