    Default myDebug Log Files

    Hi All,

It is pobably me missing something heree on regular site maintenance, etc., but having had file overload issues with my site host it turns out that it is due to the myDebug Log files. The site has been running unaltered since upgrading to 1.5.6a (I still have to consider the changes to version c) and am now in the process of deleting over 120,000 log files, so that I fall under my hosting file limit. Is there a mechanism, or something I should be doing regularly maintenance-wise, to delete these files? Is there a method to reduce their frequeny of generation?

That's where the Log Manager can help:

    Support Thread: https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....Support-Thread
    Download Link: https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2123

It's important to set the number of days to keep the logs around 30 to 60 at a minimum, since those logs are telling you that something is going on and you don't want to lose information that can help you diagnose what the issue(s) are.

Just to stress that you should not have any debug logs at all being created.

Probably most are notices/"heads-up" for stuff that is minor now, but that with later versions of php will become fatal errors, so yes you do need to work your way through them now gradually when you choose to/when it's convenient, and fix the issues before they become show-stoppers and you are forced to fix then when it is not convenient!

Yes I understand this, the vast majority of them seem to be reposting issues with Cookie Control, which should be a relatively easy fix, I think I just need to update the plugin.
