when i switch from dropdowns to sba basic dropdowns is when things goes awry

i also notice when i disable DD my sba custom ids and qty are showing, didnt b4

My dear sir, as the developer of this functionality, if you continue to choose to not follow the direction provided to give the operation that is expected and for which the software is designed, there is little more that I can do. The reasoning for these selections is random, the use of pictures does not help as these pictures are incredibly difficult to see and do not make it easy for others that might choose to take the same unusual actions to not be able to follow (when these images are deleted, they will disappear from this thread and with them the understanding of the issue(s) created.)

The software works and will provide the desired display if setup properly (which for the most part does not require any changes in the sba/dd setings other than adding stock and as desired to identify the dropdowns that should instead be "SBA simple select (dropdowns)" type option names. There are some things that had to be merged into the ZC 1.5.6 and below includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/attributes.php file; however, come 1.5.7 it appears that there will not be any modifications to the ZC provided version.

For further assistance on this topic, the following information in full will be needed, preferably in a single post and in text rather than image:
The settings of configuration->stock
The settings of configuration->Dynamic Dropdowns
The settings for the product regarding price-by-attributes and current price.
All of the option names with associated option values as assigned in the attributes manager to include the sort order, the status of each button, the price(s) and if anything other than a plus/minus to the price is identified.
Within catalog->option name manager to identify for each of the associated option names for this product the type of option name assigned including the option name id that is shown on the left side of that screen.
The variants for this product to include the stock quantity for each variant where this information is displayed in catalog->products with Attributes (SBA).

Then... after this, to follow the provided direction.

You know, one of the number reasons that things "go wrong" is because of communication.

In the above, I can not tell what settings are currently versus what they were at the time of original discovery... also, there are still questions requested to be answered that have not been.

The above settings are not the default, they do not properly identify attributes that cost something in a product priced by attribute, and at least do not specifically identify what attributes specifically are associated with the product. there are other things as well, but what I have at the moment to say has already been said in this thread. I recommend rereading and applying the changes that have been suggested. Further, if as it appears has been said, on every other store the defaults have worked and then this store comes along and the defaults don't, then what is different about this store compared to the others? Is everything that is needed for the software present? Are there any debug logs as a result of attempting to execute the software?

On the issue of "base price". Said that have marked the one attribute as base price and it seems to be thought that this is sufficient to address the overall added to shopping cart issue... since you do (good thing) seem to want to figure things out, please explain your understanding of what it means for an attribute to be marked to apply to the base price? With that in mind, please also explain what impact on selecting an attribute that is *NOT* marked as applied to the base price.

Understand that there are two basic issues occurring here. There is the initial setup of the attributes and how that impacts purchasing. There is also something with the install/configuration of SBA which is separate from the above...

i do not have to set a default cause dynamic dropdowns adds text to the options but it does not default to the text

Sequenced_dropdowns for the purpose of sba as I have further developed the software has not really been updated. For multiple attributes, sba_sequenced_dropdowns should be chosen (which is the default setting upon installation).

OK, so step away from sba and consider operating the store without any plugins. There is one and only one attribute marked as applicable to the base price. The price of the product is dependent on the selection of attributes. Now, two questions come to mind and it depends on your own interpretation/understanding as to which you wish to address:
What price should be calculated for selecting an attribute that does not contribute to the base price? (one not marked base price)
What would the price of the product be if just the one marked as base price is deleted and no other changes were made?
