Advice on shipping modules

Hello, our webstore has grown over the years and we are to the point of shipping a few hundred orders a day now. Currently we have PayPal express and pro for our checkout process and we are using PayPal to purchase shipping. The customers who have existing PayPal accounts do get emailed shipping notification but the customers who just use their credit cards do not get emailed shipping notification and this is starting to become an issue for us. We ship via USPS most of the time. We would love to have zencart email shipping notification to the customers when we print the labels in PayPal, is there a way to do this or should we look at using a different shipping module? We really need a solution that is automated so we do not have to copy and paste tracking constantly. Any advice from high volume shippers?

Look into Shipstation, its excellent.

Not a high volume shipper like you but we use ShipStation to handle all our shipping accounts, label printing, shipping notices, etc.

Importing from Zencart to ShipStation is automated for all orders, regardless of shipping method or payment method. ShipStation is a Stamps.com company so requires a Stamps.com account for postage payment. ShipStation insurance is less expensive and anything can be insured which is different from USPS insurance. Claims are paid within 48 hours.
