As for the upgrade process and keeping all of the data? ABSOLUTELY! That's the point of the process identified here: http://www.zen-cart.com/entry.php?3-...d-of-upgrading

As for the forced php upgrade? They sent out messages possibly more than a year ago that the php version was going to be increased and that effort should be taken to prepare the site to support that upgrade. This is also a reason why Zen Cart has been upgraded so much over the last several years. The intention being to support continued use in new server environments.

Yeah i know they sent the email out , it was my stupid ######## who didn't heed the warning. I really thought i could coast right along with 1.5.5f , since i was getting sales. This is all on me for not keeping up. So far I am happy I was able to get support to downgrade for me , so I atleast have some breathing room.

Time to heed the advice in post #8. Upgrade from 1.5.5f to 1.5.6c will be easier than you think.
