Delete a thread - how to do this?

I created a thread that after hitting post I realized it had a glaring error - so how do I do this or do I just put up with the embarrassment? :)

You have your options: do nothing, edit it within the short time period allowed after posting (much like was done with this thread on the first post) or to follow up that post with corrected information. Much like you have chosen elsewhere in the forum to post/respond as you wish, there will be those that may miss the correction or may find further issue with even that... generally speaking I have not seen posts get removed unless there is some identified/determined reason to identify that it violates some aspect of posting acceptance.

Again, and while it would not be the first time, I am not in any control of post information. I have not sought access to manage forum posts and I have not been asked by those in control to have that access/authority. I am satisfied with my ability to discuss things without fingers pointing at me as if I have had a direct effect on the forum content.
