Help on image config for media files...

I need some assistance here please.

What i am trying to do is to upload a MP4 clip that is about 2mb in size using the media manager in my shop.

I keep on getting this message Warning: File is larger than allowed sizes. See Image configuration settings.

So, from the message i need to goto the image configuration to change settings.

When i get to image config i cannot see anything that relates to media files?

Am i missing something here ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I haven't used this before but I think Configuration > Maximum Values > Maximum File Upload Size is the setting you need to change. Currently defaults to 2048000 which is 2MB

Thank you so much. i didnt even think to look in that location.

I managed to change the size of the MP4 file and the upload was successful.

Also check your site's upload_max_filesize, viewable via Tools->Server/Version Info. You'll need to search for that value, it's towards the bottom of the Core PHP settings.

The actual value used for your upload-files' maximum size will be the minimum of the Zen Cart configuration setting mentioned by @simon1066 and this PHP setting.

Does anyone know if there is a tutorial on how to uyse the media manager features in zencart?

I am trying to add a product with a media file for the customers to view.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's really a better choice to choose a video hosting service - YouTube, Vimeo, and many others can host and display video better than your own hosting service.

would that still be true if the files are small??
