checkout css displaying weird

checkout css displaying weird. See attached image. We don't have any addons. I'd provide a url but you can't view the area im referencing without an account. It is remedied by adding a float:left; to fieldset{...} in zencar/includes/templates/MY_TEMPLATE/css/stylesheet.css but this also affects the front customer login page to display different. Wondering if there's a way to just affect the checkout to resize correctly on larger monitors. If i resize my window to be much smaller the checkout windows displays properly (on top of one another). Also, this display problem is only occurring in chrome and not edge..... Let me know if anyone needs more information.

If I recall both the class name capitalization correctly being changed to either a div or span on those pages corrects the issue.
