    Default Handling International Orders - some Questions

    v1.5.5f, php 7.1, OPC, Cloned Zone Rates

    I have a ccTLD (.com.au) site that has started to receive orders from other countries (primarily USA) - this presents 2 problems I am hoping to get some advice on please.

    1. Shipping

    Free Shipping Options - I have this set up for free shipping over a certain dollar value [admin/modules/shipping/free shipping options] - this is economical for local shipping (AU) but not for International shipping which is expensive .... unfortunately it is showing free shipping over the set limit for International destinations also.
    The module can be set to apply to a specific zone - [at bottom of module settings page >> "Shipping Zone - If a zone is selected, only enable this shipping method for that zone" ] - problem is that when I select a zone (AU) it changes the radio button color from green (active) to orange (installed?) and the function of free shipping over the set dollar value disappears for AU.

    * note: options in the select a zone dropdown were simply 'none or Florida' (a default I think) - I created a new zone named Australia and another one AU (both were problematical) - I think maybe there is a conflict with a zone being the same as a country?? - if so I am not sure how to overcome that.

    Q - how can this be resolved? is there a better way to handle this?

    2. this one is secondary - userCURRENCY - the need to auto detect where the buyer is located and then automatically apply their local currency to pricing (given that the currency is installed in admin/localization/currencies) - I found a plugin for this here https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=181 however I have not installed it as yet - it is valid for ZC v1.5.4 and there is no forum support thread - does anyone have experience with this plugin or know of a suitable alternative to do this task?

    Delete the Florida zone and the other two zones you have and try again to create a zone called Australia. Add the country Australia to this zone. Then apply that zone to free shipping. This does work correctly.

    Another aspect Scott if I may - with Australia when Free Shipping applies it shows Free Shipping at the top but the Standard Shipping still shows below AND so does the two international options (tracked and not tracked) even though AU has been entered in the 'skip countries' of these zone rates (I have 4 zone rates, standard AU, Express Post AU, International - no tracking, International with tracking - all four show but free shipping not standard if limit met) ... I thought the not relevant ones would not show?

    My guess would be that the skip countries logic doesn't work.

    Thanks for that mate - could that possibly be an issue with the Zone Rates Clone plugin do you think? (by Melanie Prough - no support forum - maybe I'll pm her to ask and update back in here)
