    Default Rename Autodetected Admin folder

Since the admin folder name is auto-detected, how does a person go about renaming the admin folder and have it auto-detected....

ie: After some dummy posts the contents of a debug file and forgets to edit that particular tidbit of information.

Mr. Google has no answer. Docs has no answer.

Obviously update your bookmarks after you do that and go to the new URL if you are already logged in.

We'll try again today. Last night, just changing the folder name did not work as expected. Seems that manually entering the url using the new folder name caused redirect to homepage. Both on the live site and the sandbox site located on a different server.

    - check spelling of URL including case. Copy and paste to be sure you are not accidentally making a typo.
    - try going to YOURSITE.com/new-admin/login.php
    - check admin/includes/configure.php to be sure it's up to date (compare to admin/includes/dist-configure.php). The auto detect logic is in there.

    TNX Scott,

After coffee. The urls used were copy/pastes but didn't append login.php

    TNX again,

After several attempts and combinations of links, things are working as expected.
I'm pretty sure that issue was a short circuit between the ears.

Yesterday was a frustrating zencart day and all appears well for now.
