How would I make the Attributes Option Name Comments field display HTML?

Admin > Catalog > Option Name Manager > Edit

(in 1.5.6 it's "Update" rather than "Edit")

Well I tried it and it just outputs HTML tags as text rather than rendering the actual HTML, or it did for me.

I want to use the comments field so I can display boxes containing HTML above certain attributes.

It would be like this:

This is way too long - the field products_options_comment is only 255 wide.

I can put about 1/2 of this into the comment field and it works.

Yes I know, sorry I should have added that the comments field needs adjusting to take the length. I tried a shortened version and it didn't work for me. I'll try again.

See attached images. This is what I get on output and where I am entering it. I've even tried changing the template and get the same.
