    Default Size doesn't seem right

    Hi
    I am unsure how to make this main part bigger.
    Click image for larger version.

Size:	10.6 KB
ID:	19054
    I thought it was on the stylesheet.css
    #mainWrapper {
    background-color: #ffffff;
    text-align: left;
    width: auto;
    vertical-align: top;
    border: 1px solid #9a9a9a;
    }
    but nothing seems to work (was originally 400px width by the way).

    I am using V1.5.6c Zen Cart
    I have recently installed CKEditor (which is not working either - see 2nd image)

    Click image for larger version.

Size:	20.7 KB

    Any help will be greatly appreciated please.
    Kind Regards
    Casey

    When you make a CSS change, be sure you are clearing cache and pulling the latest CSS when you test.

    There are different ways to do this, but here's how I do it in Google Chrome:
    Right click and select Inspect.
    Click the Network Tab
    Check the box that says Disable Cache
    With the Inspect window open, refresh the page you are testing.

    Thank-you. I never knew that way.
    After I posted this thread, I ended up changing templates sorry.

    Any idea how to fix the CKEditor please?

    It's best to keep one topic per thread.
    See your other thread for a suggestion on your CKEditor issue.

    Another way to force the refresh is to press ctrl-F5. There are others as well.

    This doesn't refresh cache. You can refresh all day long but if you have an old css file cached, you won't see your change.

    It sure does; hitting the Ctrl+F5 (on a Windows system, anyhow) forces a hard refresh, gathering all files from the server and bypassing the browser's cache.

    It used to work for the last 20 years on a Windows machine . Did something change?

    Not from what I found in doing an Internet search on the topic after being told that the cache isn't refreshed for google chrome when presing ctrl-F5... There was some discussion about the differences in headers being sent and how the receiving server might then become the bottleneck so to say. By that I mean, the server may have cached information that it returns that is the same as what the browser had instead of recognizing the request to mean for the server to also go pull the data as if a new request from the browser...

    I don't use chrome for much other than looking at a site from another browser to see how it looks and/or address a potential cache/session issue...
