    Default Dollars To Pound

    Hi All,
Just want to thank everyone in advance
    Just done a v156 Install.

I can't seem to have my products show up in £ pound. It always shows in $ dollars. (Including conversion)
If I delete dollars cause I don't actually need it. Everything goes to 0
I have deleted GBP and recreated, made it default, updated the exchange rate.
Toggled Switch To Default Language Currency in my store.
    Changed english.php to GBP

    Still stuck any other ideas

    Please & Thanks

    Default Re: Dollars To Pound

On my demo site to test currency conversion results, customers arrive to see prices as if they were entered or be shown in the "foreign" currency. This appears to be a result of the following settings.
In configuration: My Store, the currency is NOT associated to the browser (false setting).
In localization->currencies, I have the "foreign" currency set as the default.

To have the price display as entered in the admin, the conversion rate for the chosen default currency is set to 1.

So with the default listing of currencies made available, if I have GBP set as the default and a conversion of 1, then when initially visiting the site, the prices are displayed in £ as entered in the admin. No file changes made, just the database settings.

Now though to properly display in other currencies, need to then update the currencies which will adjust the conversion rate to the then provided rate for all of the other currencies.

Again, no need to delete other currencies, rename anything, etc... just set the default currency to the one to be displayed and ensure that the value displayed as relates to the price entered is correct.

At least that's what I see and recall doing...

I'm quite certain that there is a FAQ about this and/or it is covered at docs.zen-cart.com.
