    Default Does the new anti Spam do away with the need for recaptcha

    With the new anti spam measures built in to V1.5.7
    Email - SPAM prevention built in to forms (Credits @davewest for zenNonCAPTCHA).

    Dose this negate the need for recaptcha. I currently use google Recaptcha and was wondering if I could drop it when i upgrade to 1.5.7

    The built in spam prevention of zc1.5.7 should protect you from the current known CAPTCHA walk around. With anything, there can be some new code, like Google v3 was hacked some time back. I've just started working on upgrading my site and well play some more once done... but the basic install in testing is working good enough that I wouldn't eye test users..

    With ZC1.5.7 the honeypot is at level 1 and you don't have to do anything to be there. Which leaves you with 2 more levels of honeypot to go. Which I found so far to be over kill.

    Great. I'll leave it out.
    Was checking through the Ask a question and it does not seem to have the same check. Don't know if i should raise as bug?
    tpl_ask_a_question_default.php
    PHP Code:
    <?php echo zen_draw_input_field('should_be_empty'''' size="40" id="CUAS" style="visibility:hidden; display:none;" autocomplete="off"'); ?>
    rest of module
    PHP Code:
    <?php echo zen_draw_input_field($antiSpamFieldName''' size="60" id="RAS" style="visibility:hidden; display:none;" autocomplete="off"'); ?>
    Will change on my site. Not sure if anything else will need to be changed

    Actually, there would be no change needed.. The front end field 'should_be_empty' works the same as $antiSpamFieldName! The spam honeypot is at the other end in the header file. so no need to make any changes..

    Though, it has been desirable for common code between contact_us and ask_a_question to be maintained equivalent such that even in this case the same antispamfield concept would be used.
