UPS php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known

I updated my ups module from
https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1293.

It seems to work fine. But every so often i get these errors. Can someone assist me or lead me in the right direction on solving this issue. It seems to be very random when this happens.

If I enable FedEx Web Services Shipping I get no errors. Everything works fine.

When I enable the UPS module I get the error above.


On my server I have -- allow_url_fopen is On.

Is there another setting I might be missing causing this issue.

I think the FedEx module uses CURL instead of file_get_contents.
Maybe it'd be useful to rewrite the communications logic?
